Where Does Sperm Production Occur

kepler track on the road crown

DSC07103 As you said in one of the previous articles, we planned to do another hike in the mountains of New Zealand, the Kepler Track. " We had planned to go in that corner there for a few months. It is a loop of three days up on ridges before descending into a gorge along the river to the starting point. Another round in New Zealand ... more than a lap ;-)

We start one morning when the sun plays hide and seek with the clouds. The forecast some rain transient (the "showers" as they say here, so showers), but overall it looks much drier than the Routeburn. Sacks prepared the day before, we just have to take off the shoulder. Off, off, it's wings that we need to climb the 1000m of ascent ahead. A summit is beautiful look from above with a beautiful hut (refuge) that we expect close to it. The beginning of the path is much different from many other paths with the deep bush. However in this case some new species we come tickle the taste buds botanicals.

DSC06839 DSC06820 DSC06849 Beautiful huge cliffs that we pass we give the impression to go into a fortress, and the stairs are long enough to cross the wall. We walk around 3-4 hours with a good climb but steady. Funnily enough the people you encounter. There is the super athlete in basketball without anything in the back which is a little run in the morning, the couple (we hope not) with the guy who runs and the girl who is dying and then the little family does this by taking their time (it's our case, it is not pressed). Marilyn takes many, many photos, we are here for, than beautiful evenings in prospect to watch it all.

We walk, we walk so and say that we will get a lunch break when arriving at the same stage Alpine with superb views over the lake. Now is the time to leave the "pretzel", yes that is what is written on the package, it sounds good with a good Germanic accent. What one has other in the bag, full of things, this diet is not a hike, not this time. It was cheese, bread, ham (to toast tonight in the shelter, hummm), chocolate, cakes, super good almonds mixed with a lot of things, sweets (natural flavors please , amazing in New Zealand where all the aromas are trafficked) and many other small things. The belly is off again well filled but the hut is already there, what a surprise!

The hut was announced at 6 o'clock and it was thought up at our own pace, what has been done elsewhere, but finally we arrived earlier than previously thought.

DSC06900 DSC06894 was perfect all the time to walk again in the vicinity, especially in a nearby cave, the cave Luxmore. Oh yes I have not told the name of Luxmore hut is the (over lux, exactly what we needed).

A nature walk is organized by Jeff, the guardian of the hut to spend the summer at altitude to ensure the hikers.

time loved to cook our ham with a breathtaking view, quite like cooking is not it! You can argue with people who are there. The refuge is far from empty because it is about 40 in a common room. While all this simmers I even have time to make a BEAUTIFUL braid my darling, enjoy the work ... it's art or abstract ephemeral as you want.

We will then go get to sleep. I know it is just 21h after a long day but it is needed. Marilyn does not lie, I should perhaps tell him a story the next time, why not that of the chicken and the groundhog ;-)
