Warm-up Music For Basketball

South of the South, the Catlins

DSC05094 After skirting the east coast of South Island, not surprisingly, we had to get to the end. The area most in southern New Zealand (if you do not count the islands) is called the Catlins. All the people we had talked we were described as very wild with beautiful scenery. This is true even if we met we have places that seemed more wild adventures in the past. This coast very cut is known for its rich wildlife and its danger to mariners.

We passed through Port Molyneux (funny name is not it?) Where a meal on the coast is always appreciated. When I say meals, there is no question of another restaurant or grilling, it is more a picnic with the specialties that you must begin to know (bread, cheese, ham and other ... ) but that day, we were awarded with a good sweet and a good chicken pot pie taste of cognac not bad at all. Then we stopped at Nugget Point. DSC05093 DSC05095 DSC05103 I see the smart kids who already think the fried chicken ;-) but it's actually rocks that form small islands on the coast and yellow with bright light around . DSC05111 is also the only place in New Zealand which meets the sea lions, elephant seals and sea lions. We saw only the sea lions, but they are always so beautiful when they slip into the water. We're determined to try to see sea lions in the future!
