The Milford Sound, one of the most visited parts of New Zealand.
is the day of the end of our hiking Routeburn we wanted to go to Milford Sound. We're going as planned. We stop at the campsite where we spend the night. A moment of madness takes us, it was so beautiful (and it happens not often in this corner is very very rainy) we took two tickets for a cruise in the fjords! That party is embraque in 10 minutes!
is truly majestic!
A vertex is called the Mitre Peak because it is reminiscent of a Myrtle archbishop. It is almost 2000m high, how stiff! Lots of exclamation points in my sentences but the place is justified.
The boat trip is scheduled for 2:30, the time to enjoy the scenery. We begin by seeing dolphins at the beginning of the bay. What a surprise to see these animals in a very green water. The water is rich in microorganisms because of the amount of freshwater that enters the fjord.
The fjord is filled with waterfalls everywhere. Although we are a great day, waterfalls continue to flow. But soon a good portion of them will disappear for a few hours before the next downpour.
Here is a boat of the same company, it gives you a bit wide.
There are a lot of life in these places. We see sea lions basking on the rocks on the pill. We see yellow-eyed penguins that look like penguins (those with their big yellow eyebrows).
Marilyne really wanted this picture because Villard is on the 45th but on the other side of the planet ;-)
A quick stop at Mirror Lake where managers have the imagination to the panels.
