It continues our journey to the capital along the west coast of South Island. It is very famous for his wild side, the few inhabitants but especially black flies, the old cities of gold diggers, glaciers and wet weather (all the clouds from the east find themselves stranded the Alpine chain and rush there).
We went in a few hours arid plains of Otago in the lush jungles of the coast. We found the way of American friends who had come to pick apricots with us and we made a long way together.
We took advantage of overlooking the "copland track" to go on a two-day hike in the jungle, the key, a bath in natural hot springs adjacent the shelter. A splendid way surprising by the diversity of landscapes encountered and the richness of the jungle.
Some images from the west coast of the hundreds taken!
