South of the South, the Catlins

After skirting the east coast of South Island, not surprisingly, we had to get to the end. The area most in southern New Zealand (if you do not count the islands) is called the Catlins. All the people we had talked we were described as very wild with beautiful scenery. This is true even if we met we have places that seemed more wild adventures in the past.
