The fruit season begins, A table! A

Look at this picture is one of the dangerous criminals that lurk in the surrounding orchards. The day we arrived, there was a lot of wind, I remember I was driving the van and it seemed to sail a small boat in a raging sea. The wind tore a large part of the nets that protect the cherries, which allowed the birds to lay on the small red balls juicy. Ahh yes the birds in the area are not very popular. We heard when we arrived guns qui explosent toute la journée pour les effrayer et vu les immenses filets sans fin pour protéger les vergers. Deux de nos colocataires travaillent d’ailleurs à effrayer ces millions de piafs assoiffés de jus frais…oui c’est un travail. Ils conduisent des quads à toute allure dans les rangs de cerisier en faisant le plus de bruit possible. Un haut-parleur à l’arrière émet les cris de détresse des oiseaux qui incite les autres à s’en aller.

Finalement, nous avons commencé par la cueillette des cerises pour en vendre un petit peu localement bien que la grande partie de la cueillette commence ce dimanche avec beaucoup plus de fruits mûrs. Nous avons aussi fait de la cueillette strawberries. It is done on the knees by pushing the cage into which they put the fruit, we put a little in the stomach to pass ;-) what a treat. It's not too hard for the back, but the next day is cramping in the thighs and buttocks, Marilyn and I were like two little seventies :-) Anyway you drink a lot and it will pass.

Sorry no photos of it all, the unit is being repaired to fly optician in the optical. It looks forward to the next few weeks.
